As much as the monsoon rains provide respite after the hot months, a high humidity levels number of skin diseases .
Some of the most common skin diseases are fungal infections, bacterial infections, chickenpox, herpes and eczema. Of these, fungal and bacterial infections are the most common cases.
Dr Vichitra Sharma, a dermatologist at Amrita Hospital, told IndiaToday.in that there are various cases of fungal infections that are treated during the monsoon season and are treated accordingly, depending on the body part where the infection is diagnosed.
